A day after the win at Farnham, the team were back in action in the derby game against Blackheath. Having won the toss and elected to bowl in the overcast conditions Cranleigh set about their task. Standout bowling performances from Oscar Pilling and Will O’Flinn who both secured 3 wickets each, whilst Eddie Hoy, Rupert Butler and Freddie Swayne also helped to limit Blackheath to a score of just 247. All of the bowlers received great support from the fielders. With confidence high in the team Oscar and Will backed up their bowling performances each scoring 30 with Jack Montfort and Rupert piling in too with 15 runs each. Good calling and running between all the batting pairs saw Cranleigh home with a total run score of 425. Another superb performance from the team.
