It is with great regret that we must inform everyone at Cranleigh Cricket Club that our dear friend Keith Palmer has sadly passed away.

Keith served as Chairman of the club, was a trusted and regular umpire for both the 2nd and 3rd XI’s and his support on The Common in general was greatly appreciated. His company and humour was enjoyed by everyone and he will be greatly missed by all of us at the club.

All three of Keith’s sons represented Cranleigh at the highest level; and of this he was
understandably and rightly proud.

As a club we send our condolences to Luke, Dane and Greg at this sad time and we remember Keith with great fondness and gratitude.

For those wishing to attend Keith’s funeral it will take place at Guildford Crematorium on Monday 23rd December at 2.15pm, and afterwards at Guildford and Godalming rugby club.
