We have 5 training session planned on each Sunday in March starting on 1st March. The Cranleigh School Sports Centre has been booked for 3 hours each Sunday from 1330-1630 and we are splitting the players into two blocks. The 1330-1500 slot will U10 and U11 boys, the later 1500-1630 slot will be for U12/13/14 and the girls.

We know the numbers will be variable with many other sporting commitments for may over the winter but hope as many as possible can make use of this opportunity to blow some of the dust from the cricket kit and start the preparation for the 2026 season.

Each week we will split the hall into groups using the nets and groups using the rest of the space to either play indoor matches or train technique and the numbers available will determine exactly what the coaches plan for the session.

I know many of you will be opening the cricket kit bag for the first time soon and may find much of the content will no longer fit. As always we will be running a kit swap in the first weeks of the season. However for many there will be a need to purchase new gear and there is a concern it may not fit or be exactly what you need.

The club is lucky to have a couple of parents who have decided to tackle that concern head on and I have added an email from James Hamblin below to explain a facility they will be offering at the winter training on the session planned for 1st and 15th March.
