Dear Cranleigh CC Members
Cranleigh has always been a great place to grow up—but let’s be honest, once you hit 18, it can feel like the village forgets you exist. Everything’s either for little kids or retirees, and the space in between gets… well, ignored.
That’s about to change.
Cranleigh CC is teaming up with Cranleigh Parish Council and Brighton University to support future initiatives built with GenZ, not just for GenZ. This is your chance to shape what life in Cranleigh looks like for people your age—social spaces, events, opportunities, support, creativity, culture, and everything in between.
Because here’s the truth: Cranleigh needs you. Your ideas. Your energy. Your perspective. Without it, the village can’t grow into the kind of place young adults actually want to stay connected to.
Brighton University facilitators are looking for focus group participants between 18 & 35 in different life stages who:
Whether you’re studying, working, figuring things out, or somewhere in between—your experience matters. And this is your chance to make a mark on the future of Cranleigh in a way no generation before you has.
If you’ve ever thought: “There’s nothing here for us.” “Why doesn’t the village get what we need?” “I’d love to help, but no one asks.”
Well… they're asking.
Be part of the group that finally puts 18–35s on the Cranleigh map.
The attached poster has the information you need to get involved (choice of dates and times, in-person and online).
Many thanks,
Cranleigh CC Management Committee
