The first game of the season for the Thunder came on Sunday vs Guildford, and ended in an emphatic 141 run victory for the home side. After winning the toss, Cranleigh bowled first and restricted Guildford to just 215, in the process taking an amazing 18 wickets! Great bowling all round, in particular William O’Flinn (3-0-5-5), Eddie Hoy (3-0-11-5) and Henry Pearce (3-0-4-3). With the bat, the Thunder scored 356 (for 7) with runs all the way down the order, including Noah Snook (25), William O’Flinn (45) and Oscar Pilling (17). All the boys ran between the wickets well and played really positively - a fantastic start to the season!
