Why not come down to our St. Patrick’s Day event on Friday 15th March to get to know us in a friendly environment. We have a great night planned, with a homemade Irish Stew and entertainment from renowned Irish duo Dave Marsden and Pat Abernethy.
Members will be on-hand to answer any questions you might have about joining the club for the 2019 season. The event kicks off at 7.45pm, with food served at about 8.15pm. Tickets cost £15. And everyone is encouraged to wear a touch of green to get into the Irish spirit!
If you’d like to join us for the celebrations, get in touch with Paul Bedford. Let us know if you’re vegetarian at the time of booking please.
We’re a friendly club, with a number of teams, so are on the lookout for players of all standards. We play a range of formats – from 100 overs on a Saturday to midweek evening T20 – and don’t expect you to be free for every game of the season, so you can easily fit your cricket around work and family commitments.
We keep our subs as low as possible, to make the club accessible to all. We’re lucky enough to play in a beautiful setting on Cranleigh Common. And we’re strong believers in playing fairly, within the spirit of the game – so much so, that we’re proud to say that we won the Surrey Championship Fair Play League in both 2017 and 2018, as voted for by umpires on a weekly basis throughout the season.
If you can’t make the event, but are interested in joining the club, don’t worry – prospective players are welcome at our New Member Nets on Wednesday 20th March or our Golf Day on Sunday 7th April.
Or alternatively, just drop an email to Dave Griffiths and he will be happy to answer any questions you might have.
