Visually Impaired Cricket at Cranleigh CC

Dear CCC Member,

Cranleigh CC will play host to the Surrey Visually Impaired Cricket team on Sunday 4th September to play a limited overs match and we are looking for players to fill a Cranleigh team on the day. The whole day will give people a chance to experience what its like to be visually impaired as well as having some other attractions in and around the club such as coconut shy's and even a band who will be playing in the breaks between play.

Visually Impaired (VI) Cricket is an ever growing form of our game. It is providing fantastic and often life changing opportunities across the country for both men and women with visual impairments. VI Cricket is inspiring people to play that didn't ever think playing cricket was a possibility and changing their lives!

Have a look at how it is played here

Ryan Grout and David White will be organising the Cranleigh Select XI team for the day so please contact them on ryanhammers@aol.com or dpwhite@live.co.uk respectively.

We look forward to hosting this day and further details will be sent out over the next few weeks.

Kind Regards,

Chris Thompson
CCC Club Secretary
