With the further relaxation of Covid restrictions yesterday, we are delighted to announce that the biggest ‘watering’ place in Cranleigh with some of the best views in the village will be re-opening on Thursday and Friday evenings from this week. So, you can enjoy a drink while your children enjoy their Cricket Coaching. The club has invested in more tables and chairs to accommodate in more comfort the outdoor hospitality allowed under current guidelines.

Jim will be firing up the BBQ on Friday evenings too.

There are some restrictions which we will have to observe as everybody’s safety is still paramount.

TABLE SERVICE: We can’t serve people inside but if you sit at any of the Club’s tables and benches outside we will provide Table Service. There will be more staff on Friday evenings than in previous years and we have invested in better point of sale technology which should reduce waiting times.

BOTTLE BAR: There will also be a bottle bar on the patio on Fridays providing a selection of alcoholic and other drinks which can be taken away to other parts of the Common. Please note under the current guidelines takeaway drinks must not be consumed on the premises or adjacent to the premises.

We ask you please to note the following too:
-The Club now has a QR code and everyone over 16 rather than 1 person in each group will be asked to check-in when ordering their first drink. (This is a new Government rule with which hospitality venues have to comply
-The Rule of 6
-The toilets of course will be open but we would ask that all adults visiting the toilets wear a mask while inside.
-To ease possible congestion there will be a one way system in and out of the toilets using the Home changing room fire exit as the exit from the toilets.

Have a very enjoyable Cricket season.
